Role Summary
The Commercial Vehicles Sales Consultant, specializing in HINO Trucks, will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by actively engaging potential clients within the assigned territory. The position requires meeting sales targets, optimizing profitability, and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction through effective relationship building and consultative sales techniques. A successful candidate will possess strong product knowledge, excellent communication capabilities, and the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve and surpass monthly and yearly sales goals, placing emphasis on net sales and gross margins.
- Apply discounts strategically to close sales deals while maintaining profitability and client contentment.
- Engage proactively with prospective customers and manage assigned accounts.
- Conduct frequent client and field visits to understand business needs, ensure satisfaction, and nurture long-term partnerships.
- Assess customer requirements accurately and align them with suitable truck models.
- Lead product demonstrations by detailing vehicle features, capabilities, offering test drives, and clarifying warranty and service terms.
- Handle administrative duties such as drafting sales orders, securing deposits, and processing necessary documentation per company policies.
- Generate reports and provide sales updates to management regularly.
- Maintain monthly overdue payments within set targets.
- Participate in all sales meetings, training workshops, and refresher sessions to stay current on product knowledge.
- Communicate with Sales or Branch Managers about further training needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial vehicle sales at a dealership, with mandatory involvement in light, medium, and heavy-duty truck sales within the UAE.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with commercial truck or truck equipment sales is advantageous.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer service orientation.
- Effective time management and analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
