The role involves working with decision-makers, influencers, procurement teams, facilities leaders, campus safety staff, and technology stakeholders across the full sales cycle.

Success in the position is measured by meeting revenue and gross profit targets through prospecting, account growth, solution design, proposal coordination, and customer engagement. The representative will partner with internal subject matter experts, technical teams, and vendor partners to build and deliver solutions aligned to customer needs.

  • Build and sustain relationships with schools, institutions, and key stakeholders across the territory.
  • Proactively identify and create new opportunities in K-12 and higher education markets.
  • Track prospects, quotes, proposals, and customer interactions in Salesforce CRM.

  • Create and deliver integrated solutions that combine technology, training, implementation, and sustainment services.
  • Work with internal teams to prepare proposals, pricing documents, and customer-facing presentations.
  • Research grants, procurement channels, and funding options available to education customers.
  • Represent the company at school safety events, education conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Monitor trends, legislation, funding shifts, and competitor activity within the education market.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and up-to-date customer information in company systems.
  • Act as the main contact for customers throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Background in sales, account management, or business development.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and sell consultatively.
  • Experience selling solutions, services, technology, or professional services is an advantage.
  • Comfort managing a sales pipeline independently.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Good organization and time management abilities.
  • Ability to complete work on schedule with limited supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Background
