About Eureka Heights Brewing Company
Founded in 2015, Eureka Heights Brew Co. is an independent craft brewery based in Houston, Texas. Known for producing award-winning beers that are both engaging and approachable, the brewery operates a 30 bbl, 2-vessel brewhouse with an annual production of 8,500 barrels as of 2021. The company is expanding rapidly within the Houston market.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team and contribute to the growth of our craft beer community. The ideal candidate will manage client relationships and expand our presence across bar, restaurant, and retail accounts as well as distribution partners. This role entails:
- Building and maintaining customer accounts, including recruiting new clients.
- Managing key accounts both on-premise and off-premise with a focus on relationship development and communication.
- Collaborating with distribution sales teams for order placement and ensuring product displays meet company standards.
- Organizing and participating in events, samplings, and festivals, which may involve evenings and weekends.
- Assisting in the development of new beer brands and continuously growing beer sales.
- Utilizing sales analytics tools (iDIG) and customer management software (KARMA) to enhance sales strategies.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, preferably with alcohol sales in both on-premise and off-premise channels.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for building relationships.
- Love for beer and enthusiasm for the Eureka Heights brand.
- Ability to quote the TV show "30 Rock" for entertainment during team activities.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Physical capability to lift kegs and items weighing approximately 120-150 pounds and perform light physical exercises.
Work Schedule
- Standard workweek: Monday through Friday.
- Availability to work occasional nights and weekends for events and samplings is mandatory.
