Sales Officer - Retail Assets (Gold Loan)

Role Overview

This position is part of the Retail Assets team focused on Gold Loan business in West Bengal. The role is centered on generating new customers through direct market sourcing and helping grow branch-level lending activity.

Business Sourcing

The main accountability is to acquire business from the open market. This includes building a potential customer database with lead-generation tools, working the catchment area, and identifying fresh opportunities to increase sales and revenue.

Customer Relationship Management

The Sales Officer is expected to develop strong customer relationships, understand gold loan needs, and offer support aligned to the customer’s requirements. The role also involves maintaining long-term customer relationships to encourage renewals.

Promotional and Market Activities

To expand visibility and generate leads, the role requires running promotional initiatives such as leaflet distribution, canopy activities, ATM activities, and awareness drives in residential and industrial locations.

Operations Coordination

The position involves cross-selling opportunities, logging FTR files at Local Ops/RAOPS, and following up with Local Ops/RAOPS to ensure cases are disbursed on time and do not get delayed toward month-end.
