Role Overview
The primary responsibility of the Sales Executive is to drive growth in the mortgage and rural finance business by sourcing new customers mostly through personal initiatives. The role requires maintaining the quality of sourcing, demonstrated by low delinquency rates and minimal run-offs. Additionally, the executive contributes to revenue by handling life insurance-related tasks.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve delivery volume targets and manage percentage payouts to channels as needed
- Meet insurance-related achievements
- Maintain customer portfolios with a focus on database acquisition for salaried and self-employed clients
- Provide timely resolution to customer queries within stipulated turnaround times
- Manage portfolio quality ensuring incomplete proposal documentation is minimized
- Collaborate actively with Risk and Legal teams to ensure proper documentation closures
- Coordinate with Unit Manager and CBM for prompt disbursal processes
- Maintain a Login to Conversion ratio of 60%
- Ensure rejection rates due to documentation issues are kept below defined thresholds
Responsibilities
- Understand local land legal constituents relevant to mortgage business
- Develop and maintain a database of local institutions and potential salaried client bases
- Promote the company in the market through direct and indirect marketing efforts
- Continuously monitor competition including rates, proposals, and policies
- Leverage references for business growth
- Monitor portfolio quality and business performance closely
- Provide innovative solutions to overcome business challenges and generate more opportunities
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships
- Ensure all proposals have associated life insurance coverage
- Have a thorough understanding of mortgage policies, documentation, and processes
- Ensure legal compliance of all cases prior to disbursal
- Support collections team to maintain delinquency within acceptable norms
- Distribute work delivery evenly across the month to avoid accumulation at month-end
- Conduct prescreening and ensure all required documents are ready at login for risk assessment
- Handle cases for rate waivers and follow up on approvals
- Engage with risk teams to perform post-disbursement (PD) activities
- Meet a minimum of three new customers daily to expand client base
- Maintain rejection rates below designated thresholds and arrange reconsideration for rejected cases if applicable
