Role overview
This position is a commercially focused leadership role for building Graceland’s Human Nutrition and Food Ingredients business across North America. The selected candidate will drive customer acquisition, grow revenue and margins, and help shape the company’s local business presence in the United States.
What you will do
- Expand the North American market for Human Nutrition and Food Ingredients.
- Market and sell Graceland Group’s own manufactured products, along with strategic offerings, including food-grade niacinamide, food-grade niacin, resveratrol, calcium alpha-ketoglutarate (Ca-AKG), alpha-ketoglutaric acid (AKG), N-acetyl glucosamine (NAG), sialic acid (N-acetylneuraminic acid), L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (AAKG), NMN, NAD+, folic acid, Stevia RA 97–99, Stevia RM, sclareol, natural cinnamic acid, natural p-coumaric acid, natural vanillin, melatonin, and other functional, nutritional, natural, and food-specialty ingredients.
- Identify and develop relationships with target accounts in North America, such as supplement brands, nutraceutical businesses, functional food and beverage companies, food manufacturers, OEM/ODM operators, contract manufacturers, premix and blending companies, distributors, importers, and similar partners.
- Drive early-stage commercial performance with a practical, cost-conscious approach aimed at making the U.S. business and the Human Nutrition & Food Ingredients unit financially sustainable.
- Grow sales, gross margin, and profit steadily over time.
- Promote selected distributed products alongside in-house products when commercially appropriate, including potassium sorbate, sorbic acid, calcium propionate, sodium benzoate, benzoic acid, and comparable competitive items supported by the supply chain.
- Use Graceland’s sourcing network in China and other international channels to uncover and convert business opportunities in North America.
- Support the day-to-day operation and development of Graceland Lifescience Holdings LLC through customer work, local coordination, commercial planning, sales execution, market feedback, and collaboration with headquarters in China.
- Serve as a communication link between the North American market and the wider Group by sharing customer input, market trends, competitor activity, product opportunities, documentation needs, regulatory or market-access feedback, and pricing insights.
- Lay the groundwork for future local team growth as the business scales.
Candidate profile
- Hands-on experience in human nutrition, dietary supplement ingredients, nutraceutical ingredients, food ingredients, or food additives in the North American market.
- Established customer network and industry relationships in supplements, functional foods, food production, OEM/ODM, contract manufacturing, distribution, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to develop sales opportunities and execute business plans directly.
- Sound understanding of nutritional ingredients, functional ingredients, natural ingredients, food additives, and the associated supply chain.
- Working knowledge of product quality files, specifications, regulatory expectations, and market-access requirements for food and dietary supplement ingredients in North America.
- Comfort working independently in an early-stage business environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong cost discipline and accountability.
- Clear communication skills for dealing with customers, local partners, and headquarters teams.
- Ability to manage sales, market development, supplier coordination, and internal communication in parallel.
- Potential to expand from sales leadership into a wider general management responsibility over time.

The role begins with a strong focus on direct selling, market development, and execution. As revenue and profitability increase, the position is expected to contribute to building a more structured local operation and possibly supporting team expansion in North America.
