Sales Coordinator - Logistics

Overview

We are hiring a Sales Coordinator specializing in logistics within the steel manufacturing sector. The role is based in Manali, Chennai, and requires a candidate with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. This position involves close collaboration with sales, production, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure seamless order processing and timely dispatches.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to manage order processing and fulfill customer requirements.
• Generate quotations, sales orders, invoices, and prepare dispatch documentation.
• Coordinate across production, warehouse, and logistics departments to guarantee prompt shipment of materials.
• Arrange vehicle scheduling and communicate with transporters to ensure on-schedule deliveries.
• Monitor shipments and keep customers informed with regular delivery updates.
• Address issues related to dispatch, delivery, and logistics promptly.
• Maintain detailed sales, dispatch, and customer records within the ERP system.
• Prepare comprehensive daily and monthly sales and dispatch performance reports.
• Facilitate effective coordination between sales, warehouse, accounts, and client teams.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Holder of a graduate degree in any discipline; degrees in Commerce or Business Administration are favorable.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in sales coordination, logistics, or dispatch functions, ideally within the steel or broader manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity and proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, coupled with excellent coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving work environment.
