Job description
About Balenciaga
Founded by Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris by 1937, Balenciaga set the benchmark for modern couture with pioneering innovations in shape and technique. Today, the House continues this legacy through avant-garde collections encompassing women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and art objects. Its integration of digital innovation, material advancement, and social responsibility places the brand at the leading edge of contemporary fashion.
In 2021, Balenciaga celebrated its 50th Couture collection, the first since the founder’s retirement in 1968. Demna served as Artistic Director from October 2015 until July 2025, when Pierpaolo Piccioli took over as Creative Director.
