Job description
Role overview
Amazon Ads works where ecommerce and advertising meet, helping brands connect with customers across Amazon properties, other owned and operated destinations, quality third-party websites, and a vast device ecosystem. The team is growing quickly and is focused on building a best-in-class advertising organization with strong customer obsession.
This position is for a performance-driven Account Manager who enjoys collaborating with advertisers, explaining solutions clearly, and resolving complex business challenges before they turn into obstacles. In this role, you will own advertiser relationships, support revenue growth, and help deliver against ambitious sales and business targets. You will use data to uncover trends, explain what the results mean, and provide practical guidance to both internal partners and external clients. The role also involves using Amazon’s proprietary data to shape tailored recommendations that support customer goals. It is a highly cross-functional position, working closely with Creative, Senior Sales, Product, and Retail teams while improving processes and strengthening collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Build strong knowledge of Amazon Advertising solutions while contributing revenue impact.
- Create yearly brand and media strategies aligned to advertiser goals.
- Design omnichannel media plans, campaign approaches, and audience targeting recommendations across brand and product lines.
- Review key performance indicators and improve campaign results using a data-led approach.
- Carry out detailed analysis to produce insights and recommendations that shape both immediate and longer-term digital media strategy.
- Help advertisers understand performance metrics, key insights, and how to drive better outcomes on Amazon.
- Partner with sales and other Amazon teams to generate additional revenue and improve advertiser satisfaction.
Experience and qualification requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in digital advertising, product marketing, consulting, business development, or another customer-facing role.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and building strong partnerships with measurable outcomes.
- At least 3 years of experience in digital media or marketing strategy, data analysis, and data analytics/visualization.
- Hands-on exposure to online marketing channels such as social media, display, and search engine marketing.
- Ability to turn technical analysis and metrics into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience solving complex problems, driving innovation, and working across customer organizations and technology programs.
- Preferred background includes 4+ years in marketing, brand advertising, media sales, or online advertising, with direct work with senior advertisers and agency stakeholders.
- Preferred education includes a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering, or Business.
- Programmatic strategy and implementation experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for working with external partners and delivering advertiser results are preferred.
