Job Overview
This role involves joining LinkedIn's Talent Solutions team as an Account Executive focused on securing new client business and building relationships with potential customers. The position is hybrid, involving both remote work and time in the Chicago office based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Persistently prospect to develop a robust pipeline and cultivate strong connections with prospects.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain transparency about pipeline status with leadership.
- Consistently close new deals meeting or exceeding quota expectations.
- Devise and implement strategic plans for territory management while sharing competitive intelligence.
- Coach colleagues to help enhance team performance and share best practices.
- Communicate market insights to product and marketing teams based on client feedback.
- Tackle challenges proactively beyond immediate responsibilities and embrace new initiatives.
- Seek leadership opportunities to contribute to broader company goals.
Qualifications
Essential:
- At least 2 years of sales experience relevant to this role.
Preferred:
- Background in recruiting, HR software, or recruitment media sales.
- Familiarity with SaaS models and Salesforce.com platform.
- Experience selling IT or recruitment solutions.
- Understanding of software contract terms and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record in negotiation, forecasting, and closing complex deals.
- Ability to evaluate business opportunities through data and manage multiple prospects effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected on-target earnings range from $112,000 to $160,000 annually. Total compensation may include bonuses, stock options, benefits, and other incentives, varying by candidate qualifications and location.
