Role overview

This position is for a motivated sales professional who can expand adoption of JoVE solutions within universities and colleges. The ideal hire is highly goal-driven, eager to build a successful sales career, and motivated to grow alongside a fast-moving team.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales journey, from lead generation through closing, while strengthening the company’s established presence and expanding growth across the Middle East.
  • Set territory-level sales plans and carry them out effectively.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline, move opportunities through each stage of the sales process, and help deliver quarterly revenue targets.
  • Reach out proactively every day, arrange quality meetings, and conduct product demonstrations to identify and qualify new opportunities.
  • Showcase the product both virtually and face-to-face to researchers, teaching staff, and academic librarians.
  • Use market trends and industry knowledge to create practical account strategies that improve sales results.
  • Collaborate with internal team members on targets, projects, and campaigns.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and support other marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, ideally in EdTech, STEM publishing, or SaaS.
  • Strong command of Arabic at a professional working level.
  • Excellent abilities in communication, presentation, and negotiation, both in person and online.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and similar tools such as HubSpot.
  • Comfortable engaging with clients and product users.
  • Self-driven, proactive, outcomes-focused, and open to learning new skills.
  • Persistent, resilient, and able to handle challenges effectively.
