Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out thorough risk assessments, update and maintain the Risk Register, and conduct training to help employees recognize and report hazards.
  • Maintain legal compliance by regularly updating the Legal Register and promptly escalating any detected non-compliance issues.
  • Conduct safety inspections including safety walks, observations, and self-audits, and ensure that all issues identified are closed efficiently within the Salus system.
  • Encourage reporting of near-miss incidents, conduct investigations, perform root cause analyses, execute corrective actions, and disseminate key learnings.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, food safety protocols, HSMS mandates, and engineering and electrical safety regulations, along with established SOPs.
  • Manage all HSE related documentation, including checklists, records, and ensure ongoing statutory compliance.
  • Organize and deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, awareness drives, and training sessions as per the designated training matrix.
  • Verify calibration of critical measurement tools and ensure consistent use of personal protective equipment across all sites.
  • Monitor and track HSE audit outcomes, safety declarations, mobilization needs, and compliance among subcontractors.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams, clients, vendors, and regional managers to resolve safety issues, SNAGs, and audit findings.
  • Assist with emergency response preparations, coordinate mock drills, review the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), perform audits, update SOPs, and contribute to HSE reporting processes.
