Role Overview
We are seeking a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Specialist to join our Elmshorn site. This role supports the SHE Manager by advancing occupational health and safety measures in line with corporate guidelines, legal regulations, and governmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and assist company leadership and managers on all matters related to occupational health and safety according to the German Occupational Safety Act (ASiG).
- Support the execution of hazard assessments and the development of adequate protective actions.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, document observations, and monitor follow-up implementations.
- Plan and lead training sessions and briefings on workplace safety, health protection, and environmental topics.
- Investigate and analyze workplace accidents and develop preventive solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the occupational safety management system in collaboration with the SHE Manager.
- Work closely with company doctors, regulatory authorities, accident insurance institutions, and other external stakeholders.
- Maintain and manage all documentation related to occupational safety.
Qualifications
- Completed technical vocational training plus additional certification as a specialist in occupational safety.
- Experience with management systems and auditing processes.
- Strong knowledge of laws, guidelines, and regulations within the job scope.
- High awareness of safety and hygiene standards.
- Excellent team and communication skills.
- Competence in coaching and training delivery.
- Independent, structured, and solution-focused working style.

Work Arrangements and Application Process
The position involves a 37-hour workweek with flexible working hours (flextime). The role is available immediately.
