Position Overview
The Merrion Hotel, a distinguished luxury establishment in Dublin and recognized as a Great Place to Work, is seeking a Room Service Waiter to join their esteemed team. This role offers a chance to contribute to the hotel's guest experience by ensuring top-tier service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and present guest room amenities according to the hotel's high standards.
- Perform daily cleaning and polishing tasks aligned with AM and PM shift preparation checklists.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests following Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
- Operate Micros system effectively for processing orders and managing protocols.
- Prepare room service trolleys and trays to facilitate smooth service delivery.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and maintain courteous and clear communication with both guests and colleagues. A positive and energetic attitude is essential to instill guest confidence and uphold the hotel's reputation for excellent service. Flexibility with shift patterns and availability for varied working hours is required for this full-time position.
