Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier - Waiter to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable dining experience. Your role will involve warmly welcoming patrons, guiding them through the menu with thoughtful suggestions, taking precise orders, and working closely with kitchen staff to serve meals and drinks promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a courteous manner.
- Present menus and offer insightful recommendations.
- Take orders accurately and coordinate with kitchen personnel for timely service.
- Process various payment methods including cash, card, and digital transactions using POS systems.
- Professionally address customer queries and concerns.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and pleasant dining area environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality, food service, or retail sectors.
- Competence in operating POS machines and handling cash/card payments with basic arithmetic ability.
- Strong communication skills coupled with active listening and good interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of food safety protocols, hygiene norms, and menu content.
- Capacity to perform efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with meticulous attention to details.
