About the Role
Mantra & The Sebel Twin Towns Hotel & Apartments are adjoining properties located on the Gold Coast / Northern NSW border, with views over beautiful Coolangatta Beach. The accommodation includes hotel-style rooms and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, along with pools for guests to enjoy. Outside of work, the Southern Gold Coast and Tweed Heads area offers a relaxed lifestyle with beach access and plenty of nearby pubs, clubs, restaurants, and foreshore spots.
Role Purpose
In this housekeeping position, you will help create a memorable stay by keeping guest rooms spotless, noticing the smallest details, and supporting guests and teammates whenever needed. Your work contributes directly to the comfort, cleanliness, and overall experience of every visitor.
Key Duties
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including replacing linen, sanitising bathrooms, and wiping all surfaces to create a strong first impression.
- Follow the property’s service standards and housekeeping procedures carefully to maintain consistently high quality.
- Keep cleaning carts stocked, tidy, and ready for use throughout the shift.
- Handle cleaning products responsibly and follow all safety requirements to protect yourself and others.
- Protect guest privacy and security at all times while carrying out room servicing.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns quickly to help ensure a smooth guest experience.
Skills and Experience
Prior work in cleaning or room servicing is beneficial. You should communicate in a friendly, professional manner and make guests and coworkers feel comfortable. Attention to detail, strong time management, and an efficient working style are important. This role is physically active and may involve moving between rooms using internal and external stairs and open walkways. A collaborative mindset is essential, and you must have dependable transport plus the flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
