Role Overview

The team is looking for a courteous, detail-focused Barista for its Riyadh location in Saudi Arabia. This customer-facing position centers on preparing beverages to a high standard, serving guests efficiently, and helping create a welcoming café atmosphere. The role is specifically for a Saudi National and contributes directly to guest satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages in line with established recipes and quality standards.
• Use and care for espresso machines, grinders, and related café tools so they remain clean and work properly.
• Receive guest orders accurately and process them through the POS system without delays.
• Deliver polite, professional service and respond positively to questions or special requests.
• Keep the service area neat, well-organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety expectations.
• Handle cash and card payments correctly while following proper transaction procedures.
• Track stock levels and alert management when supplies need replenishing.
• Adjust drinks to suit customer preferences while protecting consistency and quality.
• Support teammates to keep operations running smoothly during busy and quieter periods.
• Build product knowledge around coffee types, origins, and brewing methods so you can guide guests and make informed suggestions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience as a barista or in a similar café or customer service environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment with confidence.
• Solid understanding of coffee preparation methods, drink recipes, and coffee varieties.
• Strong guest-service skills and the ability to communicate respectfully with a diverse customer base.
• Comfort using POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Careful attention to detail and a consistent focus on product quality.
• Good time management and the ability to work efficiently in a busy setting.
• Reliable experience with cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Awareness of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
• Arabic and English language ability is preferred.
• Latte art ability and advanced drink customization skills are preferred.
• Saudi National status is required.
