About the Role

As a Room Attendant at Soho House, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and comfort in guest rooms and suites, ensuring all areas meet the club's luxury standards. Your keen eye for detail and dedication will contribute directly to delivering an outstanding experience to members and guests. This role suits individuals who value autonomy, take pride in meticulous work, and understand the need for discretion in an upscale environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and service guest rooms, suites, and communal areas to club standards.
  • Replenish linens, towels, and amenities while maintaining presentation consistency.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and promptly report any faults or damage.
  • Handle guest belongings carefully, maintaining confidentiality and respect.
  • Keep cleaning equipment, carts, and storage areas organized and stocked.
  • Assist laundry operations including sorting, folding, and transporting items as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Effectively communicate guest requests, room statuses, or unusual incidents to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Support turndown services and accommodate special requests when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in hallways, stairwells, and service spaces.

Candidate Profile

  • Preferably up to 2 years' experience in a housekeeping or room attendant position within a busy and high-profile setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently on one's own initiative.
  • Professional demeanor paired with a respectful and positive disposition.
  • Basic proficiency in spoken English and capable of comprehending both verbal and written instructions.
