Role Overview

Join Soho House as a Runner, playing an essential role in facilitating seamless service between kitchen and front-of-house teams. The Runner ensures food and beverage items reach members swiftly while upholding cleanliness and organisation throughout service areas.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen and drinks from the bar promptly to members' tables, acting as a communication bridge between kitchen/bar and floor.
• Assist waiting staff to guarantee an exceptional dining experience for members.
• Maintain pristine cleanliness and organisation across all working stations.
• Be accountable for a designated section, providing attentive service.
• Build rapport with members to tailor personalized services.
• Polish cutlery and prepare table additions such as lemon wraps, condiments, and butter portions in advance.
• Perform opening and closing duties including station set-up and breakdown.
• Ensure careful handling and proper storage of all service equipment.
• Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on menu changes, specials, and partake in daily tastings.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in a comparable upscale dining environment.
• Solid knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills with a proactive approach.
• Professional, polished, and confident presence.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Familiar with POS systems and reservation software.
