Opportunity Overview
Become part of the RAC team dedicated to keeping the UK moving as a Roadside Technician based in Chesterfield. This role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or recognized equivalent) along with a minimum of two years' experience in the field. The position offers a competitive base salary with significant earning potential through bonuses and overtime.
Work Details
- Start and finish each day from your home.
- Demand-driven shifts totaling approximately 40 hours weekly, with options for additional overtime.
- Service coverage includes local areas such as Chesterfield, Mansfield, Alfreton, Bolsover, Clay Cross, and Dronfield.

Candidate Requirements
- Either an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience, or a minimum of 5 years as a vehicle technician or mechanic.
- A valid full UK driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
Role Responsibilities
As a Roadside Technician in the Patrol division, you will provide expert vehicle repairs and diagnostics at the roadside, delivering breakdown assistance promptly. Tasks range from handling flat batteries and tire changes to complex fault diagnosis, ensuring excellent support to members in their time of need.

- Provision of an assigned RAC van and fuel card.
