Job description

Role Overview

This position sits within the revenue management function and is based in Gurgaon. The role is designed for Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Manager level talent who can help shape business growth through pricing, performance tracking, experimentation, and cross-functional execution.

P&L Ownership and Growth Planning

  • Set the short-term and long-term growth direction for the business while working across multiple teams to influence outcomes.
  • Take responsibility for the business P&L and build strategies that support revenue objectives.
  • Actively manage revenue levers to meet daily targets for margin, conversion, and transactions.
  • Lead discussions around banking and non-banking partnerships and translate them into tactical campaigns.
  • Monitor performance metrics closely and maintain strong control over key business indicators.
  • Analyze competitor pricing in depth and use market signals to refine category pricing.
  • Study demand patterns and traffic trends to guide business and marketing decisions.
  • Partner with marketing to design and execute customer engagement initiatives and campaigns.
  • Evaluate new markets and customer segments, understand changing behavior and trends, and work with marketing, supply, and product teams to improve conversion.
  • Work with product teams to automate and enhance pricing, reporting, and alerting systems.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth post-sale customer processes.

Analytics and Decision Support

  • Work with large datasets to identify trends and generate actionable business insights.
  • Design and run experiments to test assumptions and validate new initiatives.
  • Build scenario models and forecasts to support planning and decision-making.
  • Own category reporting and develop automated dashboards and tools to monitor business performance.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align priorities and drive execution.
  • Communicate clearly across teams, manage several parallel workstreams, and deliver within tight deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold an MBA from a reputed institute and bring 1 to 5 years of experience in business, revenue, or category roles within a consumer-facing, technology-enabled e-commerce environment.
