About the Role
As an Assistant Manager in Key Account Management within the International Hotel Supply team, the successful candidate will manage and grow relationships with top-tier hotels across international markets including Bangkok and locations such as Dubai, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bali, Thailand, and Malaysia. Positioned in Gurgaon, the role focuses on onboarding new hotels, managing existing partnerships, and maximizing revenue within assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engagement with senior management of branded and independent hotels to oversee account performance at the property level.
- Collaborate with hotel partners by sharing industry insights, metrics, and data-driven recommendations to improve portfolio value.
- Develop business plans aimed at increasing net revenue and ensure inventory availability aligns with market demand.
- Ensure competitive pricing is maintained across multiple platforms.
- Maintain supplier relationships through training on systems and wholesale business processes; conduct monthly performance reviews and market visits.
- Create and maintain market intelligence reports and sales plans segmented by geography and service type.
- Negotiate and close business deals effectively by building strong networks within the industry.
- Strategize marketing efforts for hotel partners to increase their competitiveness and customer satisfaction simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA from a recognized institution.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in sales, account management, client relations, and contracting, preferably within the internet or e-commerce sectors.
- Strong analytical capabilities encompassing data collection, organization, and precise dissemination of information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain partnerships across diverse teams.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, competitive industry environment.
