Retention Specialist - South Africa

About the Role

In the position of Retention Specialist at Sporty, you will play an active role in supporting South Africa-focused campaigns and promotions designed to boost customer loyalty and engagement within the local market. Your responsibilities will include helping to organize and run retention activities, tracking their effectiveness, and ensuring our offers remain competitive among various markets. Close collaboration with product teams, analytics, and other stakeholders is key to providing smooth operational support for ongoing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of retention campaigns and promotional efforts targeting both existing and new users in the South African markets.
• Monitor essential metrics such as retention, reactivation, and ROI, and prepare reports to evaluate user engagement and campaign performance.
• Work alongside internal product and analytics teams to enhance retention tools and improve accuracy in reporting.
• Ensure timely delivery and competitiveness of regional offers and promotions.
• Coordinate campaign implementation and follow-up activities with external partners.
• Contribute regional operational insights to support personalization and marketing automation initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in retention, CRM, or managing customer lifecycles.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in the Online Casino or broader iGaming sector.
• Proficient analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication abilities.
• Familiarity with retention and marketing automation software is advantageous.
