About the Role
Ampol is seeking a Retail Team Member for its Tweed Heads West location in New South Wales. In this role, you will help create a smooth and welcoming customer experience while supporting day-to-day store operations. The position is centered on customer service, retail support, and maintaining high standards across the store.
What You'll Be Doing
You will contribute to store performance by assisting with merchandising, stock handling, inventory checks, and control of goods. The role also involves processing point-of-sale transactions and completing cash reconciliations carefully and accurately so that each shift closes securely.
Key Duties
- Provide prompt and positive service to customers and aim to go beyond their expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager with everyday retail operations.
- Work cooperatively with team members to keep the store running smoothly.
- Follow safety and accuracy standards and pay close attention to detail.
- Be available for a 7-day roster, including weekends and overnight shifts when required.
Requirements
Candidates should ideally bring prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles. You must be comfortable using POS systems, managing cash correctly, and communicating clearly with others. The position also requires strong teamwork skills and flexibility to work nights and weekends across a rotating roster.

Pay Information
Retail Team Member pay is subject to the current rates outlined in the Vehicle Repair, Services and Retail Award 2020, with reference to section 16 of Award MA000089.
