About the Role
Ampol is a major Australian convenience retail business focused on making everyday stops fast, friendly, and easy for customers. In this position, you will help keep the store running smoothly by providing great service, maintaining presentation standards, and supporting day-to-day retail operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Retail Team Member, you will contribute to store performance through merchandising, inventory handling, and stock oversight. You will also process sales through the point of sale system and carry out cash balancing to help ensure each shift closes accurately and securely.
Key Duties
- Deliver a high standard of customer care and aim to go beyond customer expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager with routine retail operations and store tasks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a strong team culture.
- Uphold accuracy, safety, and attention to detail in all daily work.
- Be available for weekend shifts and overnight work when required.
Experience and Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Comfort using POS systems and handling cash correctly.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Availability across a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends, is essential.
