Job description
About the Role
DICK’S Sporting Goods is looking for a Retail Media Reporting & Insights Analyst to help build and scale DICK’S Media Network. In this position, you’ll turn campaign data into clear, useful insights that improve advertiser performance and support revenue growth. The role blends reporting, analytics, and strategic thinking to create performance stories, spot opportunities for optimization, and support data-backed decisions across campaigns, channels, and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Bring together and normalize performance data from onsite and offsite media channels to produce a complete view of campaign results. Prepare wrap-up reports and mid-campaign summaries that explain outcomes and suggest next steps.
- Dig into what is driving success across audiences, creative assets, and channels, then convert those findings into practical optimization actions.
- Study trends across campaigns, product categories, and advertisers to surface insights that can scale. Build executive-level summaries, deep-dive analyses, and business review materials that communicate performance, opportunities, and strategic takeaways. Help shape measurement frameworks, benchmarks, and storytelling practices.
- Work with internal partners and account stakeholders to uncover optimization and upsell opportunities that can improve return on investment and increase future spend.
- Turn analytical findings into media strategy recommendations that help shape future planning and investment decisions.
- Partner with agencies to make sure campaign data is accurate, timely, and consistent. Collaborate with media platforms, analytics teams, and internal stakeholders to test new ad products and capabilities, and to support performance readouts and learnings.
- Coordinate closely with sales, account management, and ad operations teams so reporting outputs match business needs.
- Help improve reporting workflows, tools, and data pipelines so they scale better, become more accurate, and run more efficiently.
- Monitor data quality across sources and proactively identify and resolve inconsistencies.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Math, Finance, or Economics.
- 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing and/or media marketing.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing KPIs such as CPC and CAC.
- Exposure to BI tools such as Qlik or Power BI is preferred.
Virtual Interview Requirements
- Candidates must keep their cameras on during all virtual interviews.
- AI tools, including ChatGPT and similar products, are not allowed at any stage of the interview process.
- Any offer will depend on a successful background check, which may also include ID verification.
Compensation and Benefits
The target pay range for this role is $54,600 to $90,900 per year. This position is eligible for a competitive total rewards package that may also include incentives, equity, and benefits. Final pay is based on factors such as experience, location, internal pay equity, and other business considerations. DICK’S Sporting Goods reviews teammate pay regularly to support competitive and equitable compensation. The company also provides paid leave in line with state requirements and offers a broad benefits package.
Additional Information
DICK’S Sporting Goods emphasizes inclusion, diversity, and authenticity in its workforce. The company asks candidates not to use AI tools during interviews or assessments to protect the fairness and security of the hiring process.
