Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the social media presence for PUMA Europe.
- Lead and nurture the growth of the social media team.
- Act as the liaison between global social media tactics and local European requirements.
- Enhance and streamline social media channel operations across European regions.
- Manage budget planning and ongoing monitoring for assigned responsibilities.
- Represent European interests within the global social media team.
- Plan and execute owned and collaborative social media and influencer campaigns to boost engagement and brand visibility, working closely with Media, Influencer, and category teams across Europe and globally.
- Direct social media agency efforts in developing content calendars and launching products or events.
- Create briefs for social media campaigns, guiding both internal and external digital agencies.
- Facilitate the creation of engaging and innovative content for Instagram and affiliated partner channels.
- Design, execute, and monitor seedings campaigns aimed at increasing organic awareness.
- Track and report on social media KPIs and content performance.
- Maintain close connections with relevant stakeholders, proactively sharing pertinent results to achieve goals.
- Organize social media activations as integrated 360 marketing campaigns, aligning with full marketing funnel strategies and cross-functional needs to support sales.
- Understand business priorities in your domain and sift through actions to differentiate what’s urgent and important.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related fields with at least 5 years of hands-on social media experience, preferably in consumer, sports, or lifestyle brand settings.
- Demonstrable leadership and development experience managing social media teams and working closely with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
- Strong grasp of global-to-local social media strategy frameworks and ability to translate these into actionable, region-specific campaigns across Europe.
- Comprehensive knowledge of social media channel management, content strategy, and ecosystems encompassing owned, paid, and shared media including influencer activations.
- Experience owning budgets, monitoring KPIs, reporting results, and improving channel and content outcomes.
- Proven ability to brief, direct, and assess external agencies and content production collaborators.
