About the Role
We are a fast-paced restoration company based in Acworth, GA, seeking a skilled technician with hands-on experience in general maintenance, punch out, and handyman tasks for both commercial and residential projects throughout the metro-Atlanta region. This position is ideal for individuals with proficiency in drywall, painting, carpentry, and flooring. Additional knowledge in tasks such as trim installation, basic plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpet installation, and other handyman services is highly valued but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete drywall repairs, painting, and carpentry work for a variety of projects.
- Perform basic flooring installation and repairs.
- Undertake finishing assignments including trim, minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpet installation as needed.
- Work independently to accomplish tasks as assigned with minimal supervision.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients and team members.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in drywall, painting, and general handyman services.
- Bonus if proficient in trim, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet, or other specialized work.
- Dependable personal transportation is required.
- Must have a clean driving record and valid motor vehicle license.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to adhere to schedules.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle work assignments with limited direct supervision.
Schedule & Location
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
- Position is strictly on-site in Acworth, GA and across the metro-Atlanta area.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay ranges from $18 to $20, depending on experience.
