Restaurant Counter Cashier

Role Overview

TGP International is hiring a friendly, efficient Restaurant Counter Cashier to serve as the first point of contact for guests. In this position, you will welcome customers, support them with menu choices and orders, and help deliver a seamless experience from arrival through payment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests courteously and help them navigate the menu.
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system.
• Receive and process cash, card, and digital payments with accuracy and care.
• Relay order information to the kitchen team in a clear and timely manner.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns in a professional way.
• Keep the counter and front-of-house area tidy, clean, and well organized.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in cashiering or customer-facing service, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Comfort using POS systems and managing payments accurately.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic language ability will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• A warm, customer-oriented approach with a polite and professional manner.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
