About the Opportunity

The position is suited to someone who values building strong relationships and contributing meaningfully to the wellbeing of others through everyday interactions and dependable service.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will act as the key coordinator for base rosters, shift coverage, and payroll processes across residential services.

  • Maintain base rosters in the payroll system, Kronos, along with ongoing, short-term, and long-term roster plans.
  • Adjust shift allocations and manage planned leave, unplanned leave, and exceptions as they arise.
  • Keep staff informed about roster changes, shift allocations, and replacement arrangements.
  • Ensure employee rostering aligns with the enterprise agreement and that payroll reports are prepared for sign-off.
  • Handle enquiries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns where needed in a fast-paced environment.

What the Role Requires

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Prior experience in service coordination, scheduling, or rostering.
  • Experience with payroll administration.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Experience using Kronos payroll software would be highly advantageous.

Employee Benefits

BlueCare offers a range of workplace benefits, including salary packaging that can help increase take-home pay through everyday living expenses, bills, and meal entertainment.

  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 for everyday living expenses and bills, plus up to $2,650 for meal entertainment per year.
  • Access to a recognition and rewards platform with discounts across hundreds of retailers, including everyday essentials, holidays, health insurance, annual awards, wellbeing support, and employee assistance programs.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave and 2 weeks of paid partner leave after 6 months of service, on top of the government scheme.
  • Inclusive leave options, including paid gender affirmation leave and cultural leave for events such as Lunar New Year, Diwali, Ramadan, and NAIDOC Week.
  • Career growth opportunities with one of Australia’s most trusted community and residential care providers.
