Overview
AI Singapore (AISG) is a nationwide AI initiative supported by multiple government bodies, aiming to foster robust AI capabilities and collaborations among research entities and industry in Singapore. This role, based at the Kent Ridge Campus, supports AISG's Talent Pillar under the Deputy President's Office (Research & Technology) and focuses on research talent engagement, outreach, and project management to enhance the visibility of AI Singapore’s research initiatives and talent programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the AISG Talent team to develop and produce compelling multimedia content highlighting researchers, career pathways, and research achievements tailored to students, academics, technical communities, and stakeholders.
- Manage and grow digital channels to boost awareness and engagement for AISG research programs among students and researchers.
- Assist in planning and executing research-related outreach events such as seminars, workshops, recruitment drives, and community activities, ensuring smooth logistics and impactful representation.
- Conduct research community analysis to track communications and trends among researchers and institutions locally and internationally to identify emerging interests and inform engagement strategies.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and activity schedules for AI talent initiatives.
- Support reporting efforts on program progress and activities to internal and external audiences effectively.
- Provide administrative assistance including record-keeping and documentation to maintain audit readiness for the Talent pillar.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- At least 2 years in social media management, community building, or project management, preferably in a technology-focused setting.
- Portfolio or social media links must be provided demonstrating capabilities in content creation or digital community growth.
- Proficient in video editing and design software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Adobe suite, and knowledgeable about social media platform algorithms (X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills to coordinate content development alongside operational duties.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of independent problem-solving with sound judgment to escalate issues appropriately.
Preferred Attributes
- Familiarity with Singapore's research ecosystem, particularly autonomous universities and research laboratories.
- Ability to comprehend AI technical terminology and concepts, and translate these into clear, accessible language for a general audience.
