Role overview

The Research Analyst supports decision-making by gathering structured information, evaluating data, and turning findings into practical insights. The role can cover business, financial, market, or operational topics and helps teams plan better, forecast more accurately, and improve performance.

What you will do

  • Collect, check, and arrange information from a range of sources such as industry publications, financial records, databases, surveys, and publicly available material.
  • Use both numerical and non-numerical analysis to spot trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities tied to business goals.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries that present findings in a clear, decision-ready format.
  • Carry out market research, competitor comparisons, forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance reviews as required by the project area.
  • Work with finance, strategy, product, marketing, and operations teams to define research goals, improve methods, and align insights with organizational priorities.
  • Help strengthen research workflows, data quality standards, and analytical frameworks.
  • Track industry shifts, economic changes, market movements, and new technologies so outputs stay current and relevant.

What we are looking for

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability, with the skill to make sense of complex datasets and identify meaningful conclusions.
  • Capability to frame research problems clearly and choose the right analytical approach.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets, data analysis tools, reporting tools, and presentation software.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools and statistical techniques is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of research approaches such as quantitative and qualitative analysis, survey planning, data checking, and benchmarking.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organization, and the ability to handle several research tasks within deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
