About the Company
Siemens Mobility is a global leader in mobility technologies that help move people and goods in safer, more efficient, and more sustainable ways. The company develops smart solutions for a transport world that is becoming increasingly digital, with offerings spanning rail vehicles, rail automation, road traffic management, rail electrification, and related services.
In Saudi Arabia, Siemens Mobility is helping shape the future of transportation through advanced rail and metro solutions that support Vision 2030. Its automation and signaling capabilities are contributing to the Riyadh Metro, a major driverless metro system designed to ease congestion and improve connectivity across the city.
Role Overview
Siemens Mobility is hiring a Requirement Manager to join its Saudi Arabia team. This role offers the chance to work on one of the company’s major international projects and contribute to requirement governance across a complex rail and infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the structure used to manage requirements, including hierarchies, attributes, and classifications aligned with Siemens standards.
- Build, execute, and update the Requirement Management Plan together with the related processes.
- Collect requirement inputs from customers, standards, and contractual commitments, then consolidate them in the requirement management system.
- Set up and maintain the requirements database, functional specifications, and system requirement records using DOORS and other relevant tools.
- Keep requirements traceable, consistent, and controlled throughout their full lifecycle.
- Handle requirement baselines and the associated documentation set.
- Assist with systems engineering tasks involving requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation across subsystems and interfaces.
- Work closely with requirement owners, engineering leaders, and project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and ownership of requirements.
- Support integration work involving RAMS, system architecture, and interface management.
- Define verification approaches for requirements in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain verification evidence, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Make sure requirement verification aligns with the overall test strategy and test plans.
- Coordinate with testing, commissioning, and homologation teams to deliver complete verification activities.
- Track and communicate requirement status, completeness, and compliance against project and process needs.
- Monitor requirement-related risks, issues, and deviations, and help drive their resolution.
- Support milestone reviews by providing the necessary requirement management outputs and records.
- Maintain high standards for document quality, consistency, traceability, and version control.
- Oversee information flow and document handling related to requirements and verification work.
- Continuously check adherence to requirement management processes and recommend improvements where needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in requirement management, systems engineering, or complex railway and infrastructure programs.
- Strong command of requirement management practices, lifecycle methods, and industry standards.
- Practical experience with requirement management tools, with IBM DOORS preferred.
- Good understanding of systems engineering, system integration, interface management, and verification workflows.
- Exposure to railway or metro environments, RAMS concepts, and safety-related requirements is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability, with careful attention to detail.
- Capability to work with large and complex data sets while preserving traceability, accuracy, and consistency.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, including collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfort working in a structured, process-led project setting.
- A proactive, collaborative, and organized working style with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
