An early-stage wedding platform is looking for a freelance Social Media Manager to help build its brand from the ground up. This is a fully remote opportunity for someone who combines creative thinking with strategic execution, and who is excited by the wedding industry and audience growth through digital channels. The focus is on shaping awareness, engagement, and momentum as the company launches in the UK.
What you’ll do
- Build and carry out a social media plan that speaks to a UK wedding audience and fits the brand’s goals.
- Plan, produce, curate, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Track channel performance, review key metrics, and turn the findings into improvements.
- Reply to comments and messages, encourage interaction, and help nurture an active online community.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders so social activity supports wider marketing efforts.
- Spot relevant trends, creators, and partnership opportunities that can extend reach and strengthen brand visibility.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience running social accounts for brands, ideally in lifestyle, events, or weddings.
- Good awareness of social media behaviour and audience expectations in the UK.
- Comfort using scheduling and management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later.
- Strong writing and visual communication ability, with attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Capability to read performance data and apply insights to future campaigns.
- Someone who is proactive, well organised, and able to manage work independently from a remote setup.
- Availability to coordinate with a UK-based team and work across relevant time zones.
