Remote Social Media Manager – Animal Welfare Storytelling

Role Overview

This position is aimed at enhancing the online visibility of an animal welfare project by managing and expanding its presence on social platforms such as Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The hired individual will convert provided video content into engaging short-form stories that captivate viewers and encourage support for animals worldwide, focusing on audiences in the US, India, and other locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement a content schedule customized for each social media platform.
• Edit and produce short videos from existing footage to maximize viewer engagement and shareability.
• Compose captions and upload posts on all assigned channels.
• Track, evaluate, and report on how content performs to improve upcoming initiatives.
• Collaborate on creative ideas that deepen emotional ties between donors and animal beneficiaries.
• Ensure the organization’s brand tone and messaging remain consistent across digital channels.

Candidate Requirements

• Documented experience managing social media accounts, especially with video-focused content.
• Proficient video editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Ability to create compelling stories and captions that engage a varied audience.
• Knowledge of social media analytics to monitor performance.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple platforms and deadlines.
