Role Overview

Professional Radiology Outcomes (PRO), Australia's foremost independent teleradiology provider, is seeking experienced FRANZCR-qualified radiologists to join its remote reporting team, serving Hobart and regional Tasmania. This part-time remote radiologist role offers flexibility, allowing reporting from home with a secure RANZCR-compliant workstation and reliable high-speed internet connection.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic reports across diverse imaging modalities, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and DEXA (Bone Mineral Density).
• Utilize advanced reporting technology such as Inteleviewer PACS and Fluency for Imaging VR to deliver timely and accurate reports.
• Manage personal work schedules with options for casual, part-time, or full-time engagements, including daytime, after-hours, and weekend shifts.
• Ensure all diagnostic reports meet a 24-hour turnaround requirement without mandatory shift obligations.

Candidate Requirements

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Capability to perform comprehensive diagnostic radiology across CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray modalities.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, equipped home workspace meeting RANZCR and radiation safety standards.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, accuracy in reporting, and clear, professional communication with referrers.
• Subspecialty experience or a keen interest in musculoskeletal imaging, women's imaging, chest/thoracic imaging, neuroradiology, abdominal/body imaging, obstetric & gynecologic imaging preferred but not mandatory.
