Relationship Officer - Demat Account Sales in Kolkata

Job Overview

We are seeking Relationship Officers to join our Demat Account Sales Department in Kolkata and surrounding areas. Candidates interested in building their career in client sourcing and account activation are welcome to attend the walk-in interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach clients to open Demat accounts either through designated SBI bank branches or direct market interactions.
• Guide clients through product demonstrations and initiate their trading activities after successful Demat account opening.
• Activate Demat and Trading accounts by giving detailed product demos to clients.
• Welcome and direct customers to proper service counters based on their needs.
• Develop familiarity with products and services to effectively answer customer queries and provide relevant brochures and forms.
• Create and maintain a frequently asked questions (FAQ) list from customers and seek clarifications proactively.
• Promote Demat and Trading accounts on digital platforms such as YONO and Internet Banking, assisting customers in using these services.
• Inform clients about new product launches on digital channels and provide hands-on support.
• Attend premier customers entering the branch and support them in the absence of Relationship Managers or Branch Managers.
• Cross-sell additional financial products as assigned periodically.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales business targets consistently.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

• Maximum age limit: 29 years.
• Graduates or postgraduates who graduated in 2025 or later are eligible.
• Experienced candidates will be preferred, though fresh graduates post 2025 can also apply.
