Job Overview
We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist to ensure the accurate and safe dispensing of medications to patients. This role involves verifying prescription correctness, managing medicine inventory, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards within our pharmacy in Pune, Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and patient safety before dispensing medicines.
- Dispense medications precisely as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Handle billing operations related to medicine dispensing and manage cash collection.
- Check and confirm medicine expiry dates and batch numbers against billing entries.
- Communicate with referring doctors to clarify prescription details when necessary.
- Maintain detailed inventory records of dispensed medicines.
- Keep comprehensive patient medical histories and document all activities related to potent medications.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues or escalate complaints appropriately.
- Record all pharmacy transactions accurately and update cash registers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and procedural guidelines.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding customers' medical information.
