Ryman Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver outstanding care to residents at Grace Joel Retirement Village in St Heliers, Auckland. This is a hands-on nursing role where you will work closely with residents, families, and the wider care team to support wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life.

The position offers a full-time schedule with fixed shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The workplace is a supportive, welcoming environment where you can build strong relationships and develop your career across different levels of care.

What the role involves

  • Provide caring, high-standard nursing support tailored to residents' needs.
  • Build trusting, long-term relationships with residents and their families.
  • Assess residents, create care plans, and keep them updated as needs change.
  • Deliver treatments and ongoing nursing support.
  • Use Ryman's care technology, including the myRyman app, as part of daily practice.
  • Work alongside the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators to support smooth care delivery.

Working arrangement and pay

This role is based onsite in Auckland and comes with a wage of $36.72 to $52.02 per hour, plus a 40% weekend loading and a $10 per hour nightshift allowance. The company also highlights shift flexibility, fixed roster certainty, and the opportunity to gain experience across the organisation's care settings.

Candidate profile
