Job description
Role overview
Specsavers Home Visits is looking for a proactive Hearing Aid Dispenser to deliver expert hearing care in customers’ own homes across the Kent area. In this role, you will carry out hearing assessments, recommend suitable hearing aid solutions, and help patients improve their hearing so they can get more out of everyday life. You will be supported by a global brand while providing a highly personal service to each patient.
About the business
This home-visit team is a growing part of the wider Specsavers business, focused on bringing professional hearing care directly to people in their homes.
What you’ll do
You will support patients through hearing tests, discuss the most appropriate hearing aid options from a range of competitively priced products, and help ensure every customer receives a first-rate experience. The role also includes wax removal services, so having microsuction and wax removal training is an advantage.
Team environment
You’ll be joining a small, welcoming team of committed professionals who are building the service together.
Benefits and package
- Annual salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience
- £5,000 joining bonus
- No evening or weekend working
- Car allowance provided
- Combination of private and NHS patients
- 33 days of holiday, inclusive of bank holidays
- Extra paid day off for your birthday
- Professional fees covered
- Dental and medical insurance cover
- Retail savings through the Specsavers discount programme
- Automatic pension enrolment with employer contributions when you contribute
- Employee assistance support for you and your immediate family
- Free access to the Headspace app subscription
- Discounts on eyecare and hearcare for you and your family
What’s needed
To be considered, you should be a qualified and HCPC-registered Audiologist. Strong teamwork skills are important, as collaboration is a key part of the culture. You should also be able to combine excellent customer care with professional standards.
