About the opportunity
Ryman Healthcare is looking for a full-time Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator to join the team at Bob Owens Retirement Village in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This role is scheduled across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
The position is centred on creating enjoyable, meaningful experiences for residents and helping enrich life within a lively community. It offers the chance to be a source of creativity, fun, and connection while growing your career in an organisation that values diversity and development.
What you will do
- Design and deliver recreational, social, diversional, and craft-based programmes for residents.
- Help create an atmosphere that supports happiness, wellbeing, and a better quality of life.
- Partner with colleagues and provide supportive teamwork across the village.
What you will need
To succeed in this role, you must hold a full driver licence and be confident driving a manual van. Experience in aged care would be welcome, although it is not required.
