About This Role

Maxwell Lifecare & Village, situated in the sunny Blenheim region, has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse. This position involves shifts covering mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends, with a commitment of 32 hours or more per week. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care with kindness and patience in a warm and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of dedicated Caregivers to deliver exceptional quality care.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized resident care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.
  • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with residents, their families, and General Practitioners.
  • Provide support to the Clinical Services and Care Home Managers.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse, either within New Zealand or internationally.
  • Possession of a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A genuine passion for assisting others, coupled with a friendly and positive demeanor.
  • Strong team player with empathy and a drive to positively impact residents' lives.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a solid understanding of health and safety protocols.
