Role overview
Heritage Lifecare is seeking a personable and highly organised Administrator to join Clutha Views Lifecare & Village in Balclutha, South Otago. This part-time role sits within a 72-bed care home and hospital, supported by an 8-unit village, and offers the chance to contribute directly to the wellbeing of residents in a warm, compassionate setting.
The position is a fixed-term opportunity covering maternity leave and is scheduled for 35 hours per week. It comes with an attractive annual salary and the chance to be part of a welcoming team made up of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
What you will do
As the Administrator, you will act as a key support person for the care home management team while helping maintain a friendly and well-run front office environment. Your day-to-day work will include receiving visitors, handling incoming calls, assisting residents and their families, and carrying out general office duties.
You will also manage a variety of administrative tasks such as preparing and processing new resident documentation, supporting recruitment-related administration, and helping ensure the home remains organised, safe, and supportive for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
