Mercor partners elite healthcare professionals with cutting-edge AI research initiatives. Based in San Francisco and backed by influential investors, the company offers a remote contract position for Adult Inpatient Registered Nurses.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess and verify AI-generated clinical results using nursing flowsheet documentation.
- Ensure outputs meet standards for accuracy, completeness, and current documentation practices.
- Label and organize inpatient nursing assessment data to build AI training datasets.
- Offer professional insights into nursing evaluations and documentation methods.
- Detect discrepancies, gaps, or potential risks in AI-produced content.
- Work closely with development teams to enhance AI model accuracy and functionality.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license valid within the United States (excluding California).
- Recent bedside experience in adult acute inpatient care settings.
- Familiarity with current workflows and documentation from the past 5 to 10 years.
- Proficiency in conducting and documenting detailed nursing assessments.
- Aptitude for following complex annotation guidelines diligently.
- Strong written communication and ability to respond constructively to feedback.
- Self-motivated with capability to independently meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Epic electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Comfortable adapting to new annotation software and web-based tools.
- Skill in navigating transcripts and utilizing AI-assisted platforms effectively.
- Background in quality improvement, utilization review, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), or clinical informatics.
- Previous involvement in chart abstraction, annotation, or healthcare-related AI projects.
