Position Overview

The Regional Vice President role is a senior executive position responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives, operational performance, and financial management across multiple cafes and production kitchens within the region. This leadership role serves as a key strategic collaborator with clients, driving a vision focused on promoting sustainable lifestyles and delivering innovative food experiences.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of cafes, production kitchens, and culinary services across the designated territory.
  • Lead large-scale operational transitions ensuring stabilization, talent retention, and seamless integration.
  • Translate global strategic plans into practical regional programs, aligning various departments and workflows.
  • Serve as the main liaison for client leadership, fostering strong relationships and representing the brand at senior levels.
  • Direct regional strategies for high-density Micro-Kitchen initiatives, emphasizing snack and beverage innovation alongside service efficiency in coordination with operators and procurement teams.
  • Supervise the Equipment, Maintenance, and Repair team to maximize asset uptime, manage equipment lifecycle, and optimize kitchen space utilization.
  • Oversee a substantial financial portfolio including management of a $600 million profit and loss statement, ensuring adherence to budgetary goals and quarterly/year-end reporting.
  • Implement data-driven approaches to inform decision-making processes and drive continuous operational improvements.
  • Promote a culture of uncompromising food and workplace safety, placing employee health and safety at the forefront.
  • Identify, mentor, and develop senior managers to support succession planning and strengthen leadership pipelines.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships with Union representatives, Human Resources, and other business functions to maintain a diverse, ethical, and highly motivated workforce.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

  • More than 15 years of industry experience primarily in multi-unit cafes, high-volume restaurants, or hotel environments.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of demonstrated leadership managing and developing senior management teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven ability managing large-scale P&L responsibilities and driving profitability in complex settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of high-volume pantry or micro-kitchen operations, equipment maintenance cycles, and development of culinary concepts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation and Schedule

  • Annual salary range of $225,000 to $250,000, with eligibility for bonus compensation.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday.
