Job Overview

The Creative Studio team at Compass Group is in search of a vibrant Photo & Video Production Specialist dedicated to crafting high-quality photo and video content that narrates engaging stories. This role entails close coordination with the team leader and collaboration with various creative departments to devise strategies and produce top-tier photo and video materials primarily focused on sales enhancement. The position requires a flexible team player based in Charlotte, NC, ready for occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales team to produce captivating photo and video content to increase engagement and sales performance.
  • Handle camera, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots to guarantee quality visuals that meet company and team standards.
  • Manage travel arrangements, technical needs, personnel coordination, and contingency plans for off-site shooting assignments.
  • Edit videos that effectively highlight Compass Group's value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Integrate audio and visual content into marketing materials such as presentations, websites, and social media channels.
  • Assist in production tasks during photo/video shoots and live video events, focusing on sales-related content.
  • Maintain organization of creative assets, ensuring accessible and well-labeled files for the sales team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within Compass Group to ensure video messaging aligns with corporate sales objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders including executive leadership to direct scripting, content creation, and project scope management.
  • Offer creative direction and guidance to enhance project outcomes, uphold team standards, and elevate aesthetics.
  • Consistently propose innovative ideas for enhancing the photo and video content portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience across pre-production (planning, scripting, concept development), production (camera operation, lighting, audio), and post-production (editing, color grading, animation).
  • Excellent listening and communication abilities to understand client goals, direct shoots, and ensure effective executions.
  • Strong familiarity with photo and video editing workflows, with content crafted for sales and marketing support.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and capacity to collaborate across multiple business units, especially sales.
  • Skilled in conducting interviews to maximize storytelling potential and guest satisfaction.
  • Highly creative, engaged, detail-focused, and passionate about photo and video production craft.
  • Proficient in Davinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Suite, and Mac OS.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach, thriving on creative challenges.
  • Capable of managing multiple deadlines and quickly adapting to changing priorities.
  • Professional demeanor when receiving feedback and notes, ensuring client and team satisfaction.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, typically one to two shoots per month.
