Role Overview

The Regional Supply Chain and Planning Manager will be a key player in our newly formed Regional Supply Chain and Planning team, mainly positioned in the MEI region with options for flexible and hybrid work arrangements. Your efforts will directly impact business profitability and customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage short to mid-term supply chain planning horizons (0–6 months) to guarantee forecast accuracy and balance supply with demand.
  • Make transparent capacity allocation decisions, balancing service levels, cost, and inventory management.
  • Spot and communicate potential gaps or opportunities, including freeing capacity, shifts in demand, and reducing lead times.
  • Be the trusted partner for commercial and operational leadership in aligning supply with business priorities.
  • Proactively identify supply risks such as shortages, delays, or stockouts and suggest mitigation actions.
  • Take corrective measures such as inventory reallocation, expedited shipping, or alternative sourcing.
  • Verify the feasibility of short-term demand against production, procurement, and logistics constraints.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs related to supply chain execution, including on-time delivery and forecast accuracy.
  • Report regularly to senior management on supply chain performance, noting successes and areas needing improvement.
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to advance supply chain effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, planning, or logistics leadership; familiarity with S&OP is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills capable of translating data into actionable business decisions.
  • Excellent skills in managing stakeholders and influencing across Sales, Finance, and Operations departments.
  • Proficient in negotiating trade-offs and making decisions under uncertain conditions.
  • Experienced with SAP and data analytics tools; advanced competencies in Excel and Power BI.
  • Leadership qualities including a strong sense of ownership, effective collaboration, clear communication, and coaching abilities.

Benefits and Work Culture

  • Contribute to a meaningful purpose by enabling sustainable use of minerals and metals fundamental to modern life.
  • Access occupational healthcare, mental wellbeing services, fitness facilities, and wellness rewards.
  • Enjoy competitive compensation with global incentive programs tied to performance, including vehicle and meal benefits.
  • Flexible hybrid work options encouraging both collaboration and personal work balance.
  • Participate in an inclusive, courageous, and caring corporate culture aimed at unlocking full potential.
  • Various learning and development opportunities such as mentoring, internal mobility, and educational support.
  • Benefit from a worldwide network that fosters teamwork and transparent communication.
