Role Overview
The Regional Strategy Director acts as a trusted consultant to the Regional President and leads strategy development and execution across European markets for Bacardi. This position melds analytical rigor and hands-on execution, turning strategic goals into measurable results across multiple countries and departments. The role encompasses strategic planning, performance analysis, project leadership, and fostering data-driven decision-making aligned with commercial objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead formulation of European regional strategies consistent with global Best10 initiatives.
- Manage annual and long-term strategic planning cycles.
- Translate global priorities into actionable regional plans alongside senior commercial leaders.
- Oversee performance review processes and monitor strategic goal attainment.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitive behaviors, and consumer trends.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend corrective measures.
- Support quarterly business reviews through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with commercial growth teams to explore new market entry and segment expansion opportunities.
- Steer critical regional projects such as portfolio optimization, organizational redesign, sustainability programs, operating model enhancements, and pricing strategy adjustments.
- Provide strategic advisory support by preparing executive presentations, facilitating board meetings, and aiding decision-making processes.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of macroeconomic and industry trends, competitor strategies, and produce regular intelligence reports.
- Implement governance frameworks for strategic initiatives, tracking project status and ensuring accountability with executive reporting.
- Champion a culture where data insight drives innovation and decisions, translating complex analytics into business value and integrating insights across functions.

- Track record leading strategic initiatives spanning multiple countries.
- Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen.

- Experience working across diverse European markets and managing executive relationships.
