Position Overview

The Regional Stock Controller will spearhead the enforcement and management of stock control policies and practices within Partner and Distributor outlets. This role demands maintaining accurate stock records updated promptly to ensure efficient inventory management and protection of company assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock accurately and efficiently by maintaining updated records at Partner and Distributor locations.
  • Examine stock reports, focusing on aging and optimization, to detect discrepancies, surpluses, or shortages; initiate appropriate actions.
  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analyses on identified variances, implementing corrective measures to avoid repetition.
  • Evaluate infrastructure alignment with ECs, identify areas with low SEPs, redistribute aged or slow-moving inventory to higher velocity ECs, ensuring stock allocation optimization.
  • Perform physical stock audits, regular reconciliations, and continuous monitoring of stock activities.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Compile and disseminate inventory and consumption reports daily, weekly, monthly, and on-demand to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and take part in monthly and annual field stock counts; reconcile findings with warehouse data and report discrepancies.
  • Match stock deliveries against purchase orders and invoices to verify accuracy.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to enforce controls that minimize inventory obsolescence.
  • Guarantee timely and precise stock data reporting to support business decisions.
  • Escalate all identified variances promptly to the warehouse manager for deeper investigation.
  • Conduct random spot checks comparing physical stock in partner and distributor outlets against system records, documenting any discrepancies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently.
  • Driven and organized team collaborator with leadership skills to mentor and encourage colleagues.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experienced in shipment tracking, inventory audits, and maintaining purchase and pricing reports.
  • Sound understanding of supply chain operations with aptitude to interact professionally with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Skilled in analyzing stock data and statistics to formulate improved solutions.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • Possesses 3 to 4 years of pertinent experience including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Proficient with basic computer skills, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving stock management and logistics objectives.
  • Must reside within the designated region.
