Job Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal sales team coverage across geographies with appropriately skilled staff
- Analyze market conditions and trends to position the company for market share growth and used equipment sales
- Set clear sales goals, pipeline expectations, and customer experience standards for the sales team
- Coach team members to effectively match customers with the right equipment for their land
- Accompany sales representatives on farm visits to strengthen client relationships and improve sales skills
- Remain knowledgeable about John Deere products, financing options, and technology solutions to advise customers appropriately
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment sales
- 1 to 3 years experience leading sales teams is an advantage
- Strong motivation to grow business and identify revenue opportunities
- Competitive mindset focused on setting and attaining goals
- Effective problem-solving skills with creative solution capabilities
- Background or familiarity with Saskatchewan agriculture is beneficial
